These are a collection of some background patterns i have found useful in the past. They were originally generated by me for my work in journalism graphics and magazine/newspaper layouts.
The Specs:
RGB mode
220 dpi
30 x 30 picas (5 x 5 inches)
There are 10 files in this archive, in the metal, paper, sky, stone and weird categories (though Paper/bag/crumpled makes a good texture pattern for maps, which is what i origanally made it for). Wood and other such things will be in Vol. 2, which is forthcoming.
All i ask is that if you find these useful, is to be cool and send me a paltry $5 (or whatever you feel it worth). You can sleep soundly knowing there is one less hungry college student/soon to be unemployed graduate in the world! Fellow hungry college students don’t have to send me anything if they don’t want to.
You can distribute these files on any disk or CD, just please keep this readme with them and let me know (or send me one, too!).
